Maria Ioakeim
Project Manager and CEO
Maria founded OikoSystems, LLC in 2011 on the heels of a short career in commercial construction with HITT contracting right out of college. After completing a residential renovation, she decided that residential construction and entrepreneurship was her passion and OikoSystems, LLC was born!
Maria loves home improvements, construction, and renovating homes. She has the ability to put her clients at ease by providing excellent project management and delivering and more importantly, completing projects.
Maria has a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and has 13 years of commercial and residential construction experience.
When Maria isn’t working in construction, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cooking, dancing, weightlifting, and hiking.
Dimitrios Ioakeim
Head of Field Operations and CEO
Dimitrios came to America in 2014 for love. After meeting Maria on vacation in Greece, he retired from the Greek military after 12 years of serving as Sargent in the Greek Army.
Dimitrios loves to problem solve and create solutions for even the smallest handyman tasks. Dimitrios is patient and extremely talented at renovating spaces.
When Dimitrios isn’t working in construction he loves to spend time with his wife and two kids, building Lego Technics, putting together large puzzles and biking. He is also a huge soccer fan and his favorite team is Olympiakos.
